WHERE IT STARTS

The places we love are made by the businesses inside them.

A good stay. A busy market. A familiar cafe. A kitchen that smells like someone’s home. Those are the things that make a neighborhood feel like yours, and they don’t happen by accident. Somebody has to open the doors every morning.

Legacy 48 started with a simple idea: build those places ourselves, right here in Bradenton. Each one gets its own character. All of them get the same care.

You’ll find the Legacy 48 family across Bradenton, from the streets of Northwest Bradenton to the galleries and cottages of the Village of the Arts, and out to the beaches of Anna Maria Island. It’s a part of Florida with real character, and we’d like to add to it, not paper over it.

THE FAMILY

We call it a family. It isn’t one. Not technically.

There’s no shared last name and no family tree. What there is: a group of businesses that look out for each other, borrow each other’s tools, send each other customers, and argue about whose turn it is to bring lunch. If that’s not a family, it’s close enough.

AND THE 48?

People ask. We smile.

Everyone wants to know what the 48 stands for. It’s a good story, and one day we might tell it. Until then, take your best guess. You won’t be the first, and you probably won’t be right.
